How Do I Check to See if My Site is Compliant?

There are several ways to verify compliance:

Checkmark
  1. The W3C offers several markup validators and accessibility checking tools for free on their site. Managers can run these validators to determine what type of coding errors are occurring.
  2. There are also a number of web accessibility tools available for purchase. These tools are able to dive more comprehensively into the code of a web site to determine areas of non-compliance.
  3. Many managers choose to work with an accessibility consultant who reviews the site's code and also the site's overall approach to design and programming to determine areas of non-compliance.

An accessibility audit has determined that some elements of my site are non-compliant. What now?
